Also doch ein Auto von Perancis Marcel Leyat, das sogenannte "Helicron" von 1932. Ich zitiere: "satu contoh yg menarik ditemukan belum lama ini di Perancis tersembunyi di sebuah gudang. Sudah selesai diperbaiki, mesin 4-tak 2 silinder yg asli diganti dengan mesin 4 silinder berpendingin air dari Citroen GS (baling-balingnya dirangkai langsung ke crankshaft). Sudah dipertimbangkan mengenai keselamatannya untuk jalanan di Perancis dan mampu mencapai top speed 75km/jam".

Ja nee is klar! Um nicht zu sagen: In the late 1930s this one-of-a-kind Helicron was placed in a barn and forgotten. More than six decades later this odd lost little gem was rediscovered, rebuilt, and reintroduced to the world.

Although the manufacturer is unknown, it’s believed that this car was built in France 1932. Following the first World War it was not uncommon for recently displaced airplane engineers to look towards the burgeoning automobile industry for more lucractive employment. As in this example, a few entrepreneurs developed propeller-powered cars with the notion that propeller power was an efficient means of moving a vehicle.

On this car, when the wooden propeller is spinning at full speed and efficiently, this little 1,000-pound boattailed skiff can hit freeway speeds exceeding 75 mph. As you might expect, this is the one and only Helicron in existence.

Along with a bunch of other odd cars, the Helicron is owned by Lane Motor Museum in Nashville, TN.

Und zum Gefahrenpotential des Propellers: This thing is loud, it's incredibly dangerous, it's crude, and we love it. Leave it up to the French to design a car where the express purpose seems to be mowing down sniveling pedestrians for the sake of style. Here's a tip, if you're ever around the Helicron when it's operating, don't get anywhere near the propeller wash if you're wearing shorts.

Ey, das ist hier aber nicht das Ausschnitteratespiel! :-D Da ist bestimmt vorne ein Propeller und hinten ein Boattail dran...

Dann will ich mal anfangen zu fragen. Ich nehme das blaue Schweinderl.

Gehe ich recht in der Annahme, dass das ein englisches Auto ist?

Gibt es den Hersteller noch?

das Auto ist echt weit über 5m kang, eher 6m.
Hinter mir stand schon das nächste Auto und Weitwinkel auf der Digicam is nich. Also gibt es Auto in Häppchenform.
Übrigens ist hinten ein Bootstail aber vorne kein Propeller, dafür zwei riesige Scheinwerfer. Und ja ja, England und gibt´s noch ist richtig.
